Wendy Adelmann

MS Community Counseling (Oklahoma State University)

Wendy enjoys helping people thrive by overcoming obstacles and honing in on the best of who they are and their purpose.  With more than 30 years in the mental health field, she has worked with adolescents in a residential facility as well as offering professional counseling in various community agencies. 

Wendy has taught psychology and counseling for more than 20 years at the college level receiving awards for excellence in teaching.  She currently teaches at Columbus State Community College and Franklin University.  Wendy was a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma.  She was the founding director of the Counseling and Development Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma which grew to 5 professionally licensed therapists and 15 master’s level interns who provided individual, family and group therapy to the community in addition to providing psychoeducational classes to the public schools and the community. 

Wendy is married to a wonderful guy for 32 years and has 3 children.  She enjoys nature, reading and hanging out with family and friends.
