Wendy Adelmann

MS Community Counseling (Oklahoma State University)

Wendy enjoys helping people thrive by overcoming obstacles and honing in on the best of who they are and their purpose.  With nearly 30 years in the mental health field, she has worked with adolescents in a residential facility as well as doing professional counseling in various community agencies.  For more than 20 years she has taught psychology and counseling at the college level receiving awards for excellence in teaching.  She currently teaches at Franklin University.  Wendy was the founding director of the Counseling and Development Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma which grew to 5 professionally licensed therapists and 15 master’s level interns who provided individual, family and group therapy to the community in addition to providing psychoeducational classes for the community and public schools.  She was previously a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma.  Wendy is married to a wonderful guy for 29 years and has 3 children.  She enjoys nature, reading and hanging out with family and friends.
